Originally from the Detroit Metropolitan Area you can now find Eric-Allen Jillson a.k.a. Acacia Bridge, sequestered in a cabin in the Adirondacks hard at work on sound and video works that seek to express the ideas at the edge of consciousness where words begin to fail us.
Once called a young Jedi by techno originator Derrick May, Eric-Allen has spent his musical career playing at such historic venues as The Knitting Factory and Bowery Poetry Club in NYC, The Works and Jacoby’s in Detroit as well as the Detroit Tricentennial event at Hart Plaza sharing bills with a wide diversity of artists including Todd Osbourne, Shaun Reeves, Kevin Saunderson, Doormouse, Casper Electronics and Stevie Wonder.
Recently he has begun work on video projects ranging from short documentaries to barrages of visual feedback to accompany his musical works drawing on a long standing fascination with the world of experimental film and his own experiments with visual arts beginning in high school.
